Sixteen Stone '94 & Odelay '96
Now, I'm not sure if I should count this one. Because the image on the left isn't the cover of the Bush album, but it's the first thing you see when you open the CD case. Also, although they are very similar looking dogs, the one on the Bush album is a Puli and the dog on the Beck album is a Komondor. I remember both of these albums very well from high school and always felt they were just the slighest bit related just based on the similar dogs.
Let It Come Down '98 & Invincible Summer '00
The Hustler '05 & The Believer '06
John, the Wolf King of L.A. '70 & Desire '76
Kill The Moonlight 8/20/02, Trust 9/24/02 & Amazing Grace '03Somehow, naked arms make for good-looking album covers.
This was fun. Feel free to leave comments with your thoughts. If you can think of any that I can feature in the next or future segments, you can leave them in the comments, or feel free to email me with ideas at everlong_song@yahoo.com
Note: the picture at the header features nearly identical album covers by Fountains of Wayne and The Flamingoes. The Flamingoes album was released only TWO WEEKS before Fountains of Wayne hit it "big" with their self-titled album.

You know, I bet the same company is responsible for similar ones and they're just lazy. Anyways, similar album covers has probably increased in recent years. What irks me are bands that have official pictures that are virtually identical to every other band's official pictures except the people in them.
